With extensive testing and design. We have found that by using the Suzuki LTR450R steering and braking components, the Honda TRX450R can now handle even better than before.  We have designed a Long Travel, Maximum Ground clearance A arm that uses the LTR450R spindle, brakes and hub components. We also use a similar design of the LTR steering stem “flag”. With this newest technology, the TRX450R will handle the most roughest terrain, faster cornering, off camber jumps, quicker turning, less bump steer and a much more predictable ride.  We have tested and tuned these components with some off the fastest, championship winning Pro Am and A riders in the United States. Collectively, we feel we have the best handling, practical and most economical front end on the market today.

The MGC GEN II TRX450R arms must be used in conjunction with our Gen. II steering stem and TRX450R 2005 spindles. They are calibrated to work together for optimum performance.

KFX450R MGC SERIES LONG TRAVEL

We believe that we have one of the best handling front ends on the market today for the new KFX450R. With many hours designing on CAD and developing different wheel bases and widths of the machine. We have certainly done our R&D on this vehicle on and off the track. We have decided that we will go to marke t with a +2" wider and +1/2" forward A arm. By doing this, it will apply more load to the light front end.... assisting in the turning  and handling. In addition we also changed the caster to what we believe to be the correct degree. However, if you prefer.... we offer an adjustable caster option as well.  Coupled with our KFX450R steering stem to reduce the "bump steer" you will clearly making the right decision on your purchase. It is the Logical Choice.

This procedure entails: Parts and Labor for installation (see front suspension diagram)

  • Lower A arms- installation of needle bearings, circlips, joint balls and seals.
  • Does not include: lower A arm....front sleeve # 42036. Use your stock part. Installs easily

The upper A arms are constructed of 7/8" 4130 alloy steel tubing and the lower A arm's are constructed of 1.00" 4130 alloy steel tubing.  The front lower tubes on the XC A arms are .120" wall tubes to endure more abuse. Also, the front shock mount tube is a made of .120 wall tubing to insure the A arms integrity.

After the powder coating and or chrome is complete, our last step before packaging is reaming the delrin bushings. As simple as it may sound most other manufactures leave this part of the process out. After the Delrin bushings are pressed into the pivot tubes we run a reamer through the bushings. This opens the I.D eliminating the majority of the drag when you tighten you’re A arms on the frame, giving you the right flow they need for a smooth travel.

Our MGC Series A arms do not require adjusting the caster. This accurate angle was engineered into the design of the A arm for best possible performance. However, if you prefer, ATV Four Play, LLC offers this as an added option utilizing a HD, 3- piece, Teflon®/Kevlar® rod end for adjusting your own caster requirement. Please note our new GEN. II MGC for the TRX 450R has this option as a standard for this product.
