Introducing ATV Four Play’s
Newest addition to the
MGC
series A arms ... Area 51 TRX/LTR 450 MGC series A arms
With extensive testing and
design. We have found that by using the Suzuki
LTR450R steering and braking components, the Honda
TRX450R can now handle even better than before. We have designed a Long
Travel, Maximum Ground clearance A arm that uses the
LTR450R spindle, brakes and hub components. We also
use a similar design of the LTR steering stem
“flag”. With this newest technology, the TRX450R
will handle the most roughest terrain, faster
cornering, off camber jumps, quicker turning, less
bump steer and a much more predictable ride.

ATV FOUR-PLAY's BRIAN WOLF WINS SNOWSHOE GNCC
Snowshoe, WV (June 26,
2010) - Although the results are still
unofficial, it appears that Brian Wolf will be
$10,000 richer after winning the prestigious MotorcycleUSA.com
Snowshoe GNCC in Snowshoe, West Virginia - round
nine of the Can-Am Grand National Cross Country
Series. This is the second year in a row that the
HMF Honda rider has claimed the top prize at this
race, despite the fact that he's an XC2 Pro-Am
rider. What made it even more exciting was that Wolf
battled back and forth with eventual Pro class
winner Chris Borich in a thrilling race that was
only decided in the final few miles.

Story by Matthew Fredmonsky,
Photography by Steph Krell, Jan. 07, 2010
"Tarantula Performance Racing’s latest
project took Yamaha’s new YFZ450R and improved its
track-ready prowess ten-fold..."
"The YFZ450R has great stock suspension, but the quad is
still about an inch shy of the maximum 50-inch width
permitted in the AMA ATV National Motocross Championship
series.
So Tarantula Performance Racing partnered with ATV Four Play
owner Tom Skladzien to widen the front end with a set of his
championship winning MGC MX long-travel A-arms. The
Wadsworth, Ohio based company had yet to design a set of
their arms for the new Yamaha and built its first set for
the TPR project YFZ450R.
Yamaha’s engineers, according to Skladzien, obviously put a
lot of thought into designing the front end of the new YFZ-R
with the increase in rake and narrow lower frame rail to
improve cornering and bump steer. But you can always build a
better mouse trap.
“We moved the shock location to offer a plusher ride and
(riders) have the capabilities of changing caster and
camber,” says Skladzien.
ATV Four Play’s A-arms use the same length shock as the
stockers, which measure in at about 18.5 inches, but the
arms increase the YFZR’s wheel travel to 10.5 inches from
the stock limit of 9.8 inches"

ATV
Four Play introduces A-arms for YFZ450R |
|
ATV Four Play’s championship
winning MGC A-arms are now available for the new Yamaha
YFZ450R for both motocross and cross-country racers.
The ATV Four Play MGC MX
long-travel A-arms for the YFZ450R are a total of one inch
wider than the stock arms. These aftermarket arms must be
used with a 4:1 offset front wheel to abide by the 50-inch
width rule enforced by the AMA and most other motocross
sanctioning bodies. The motocross arms use the same length
shock as the factory shocks, which measure in at 18.5
inches, but increase the YFZR’s wheel travel to 10.5 inches
from the stock travel limit of 9.8 inches.
The cross-country MGC A-arms
from ATV Four Play are one inch narrower than stock and work
with a standard travel shock setup.
Both sets of arms are camber
and caster adjustable. In addition to increased
adjustability, these new arms offer a smoother ride. Shock
mounting locations on the ATV Four Play MGC arms have been
changed from the stock YFZR mounting position in order to
create a plusher ride.
Color choices for the arms
vary and include red, gloss black, textured black, blue,
yellow, pink and orange. Custom color options, including
candy and chrome, are available at an additional cost. All
ATV Four Play A-arms are TIG welded by trained, professional
welders. State of the art welding fixtures ensure each arm
is constructed within the same exact specifications to
guarantee a smooth, fast ride every time. |

Soft Bars service program (Print
Program)
ATV Four Play would like to offer all Soft Bar owners
a winter or “off season” service program.
If you send in your Soft Bars, we will thoroughly
inspect, clean and provide the 2010 stud updates. What does
this mean? In our 2009 testing and R&D we have found that in
a hard crash or if the bars are not completely tightened on
to an aftermarket stem the 10mm studs can bend. So we have a
new, stronger method of securing the Soft Bars to your
aftermarket steering stem.
So, if your Soft Bars have 10mm studs that look like
this: |
|
OLD style |
NEW Style |
 |
 |
|
Send them back to us for the updates and we will inspect,
clean and replace the dampening bushings, the O rings and
grease the Soft bars for a low cost of $25.00.
This includes shipping back to you.
